Your payment is handled by Link, the checkout service of Stripe, which acts as the seller of record for your purchase (“Sold through Link”): Link charges you, calculates and collects any sales tax or VAT due in your country, sends you a receipt and handles payment-related requests, under its own terms.
We remain responsible for the Pass and your space: their content, access and support.
2. Scope
These general terms of sale (the “Terms”) govern the purchase of the Lovely Couple Pass (the “Pass”) by consumers from the English-language pages of lovecouple.app, and its use. By ticking the box before payment, you accept them. The payment itself is also subject to the terms shown on Link’s checkout page.
The Pass is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority required in your country of residence if higher, to buy and use it.
The version that applies is the one in force when you order, and it is recorded with your order.
3. The space and the Pass
The Lovely Couple space is an online space, on lovecouple.app, that you open by creating an account for free. A couple plays there together, in the browser of a phone, a tablet or a computer, card, question and dice games, some of them free.
In your space, the Pass opens: in Truth or Dare, the Laughs, Memories, Spicy and Red hot categories, and more cards in the free categories; in the spicy dice, the Spicy die (the Sweet die is free); in Couple Ideas, every week’s spicy idea (the two sweet ideas are free); in Deep Questions, the Midwater and The Deep depths (the Surface is free); in Fix the World, the themes Together and Life (Love is free); the cards you write yourselves, with no limit on their number (three without the Pass). It also opens, in the English games of the site, in a browser signed in to your space: the Spicy level of Would You Rather and of Most Likely To, and acts II and III of the Dare Wheel; in these games played in your space, it also opens the Red hot level of Would You Rather and of Most Likely To, and act IV, Scorching, of the Dare Wheel. The content of the Pass on the day of your purchase is described on the Pass page.
Games and categories added to the Pass later are opened to you at no extra cost.
The Pass is digital content supplied without a physical medium: there is nothing to download, it is used online, with an internet connection.
4. Price
The Pass costs €9.90, taxes included: any sales tax or VAT due in your country is included in this price and collected by Link. The price is shown on the Pass page and on the checkout page. The Pass is paid once: there is no subscription, no renewal and no extra fee.
At checkout, Link may show the price in your local currency; if you choose to pay in that currency, the converted amount includes a currency conversion fee. The price that applies is the one shown when you order. It may change for future purchases, in particular when new games come into the Pass; if you already have the Pass, you pay nothing more.
5. Order and payment
The Pass is bought from your space: you need an account, created for free, and to be signed in to it. On the Pass page, tick the box accepting these Terms and requesting immediate access (section 7), then pay on Link’s secure checkout page.
Your payment details, name and billing address are entered on that page and processed by Link and Stripe: we never have access to your card details. Your bank statement shows a line starting with “LINK.COM*”. The contract is concluded as soon as your payment is confirmed.
6. Access to the Pass
The Pass opens as soon as the payment is confirmed, on the account you bought it with: the Pass page confirms it, and you find it on every device where you sign in to this account. We also send you the confirmation of your purchase by email, to the address of your account; Link also sends you a receipt.
The Pass has no time limit: it stays open on your account for as long as the Lovely Couple space is in service. Should the space close, we would let you know by email before it closes.
The Pass won’t open? Write to support@lovecouple.app from the email address of your account: we’ll fix it.
7. Right of withdrawal
If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from (cancel) a purchase made online. This right does not apply to digital content supplied without a physical medium once its supply has begun with your prior express consent, after you have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and once this has been confirmed to you (article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, and the equivalent rules of your country).
This is how the Pass is sold: before payment, you expressly ask for immediate access to the Pass and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal by ticking the box provided, and we confirm it in the confirmation email of your purchase. As the Pass opens as soon as payment is confirmed, you can no longer withdraw after that.
As seller of record, Link applies its own refund rules and any mandatory consumer rights. For a question about your payment, you can contact Link support; for the Pass itself, write to support@lovecouple.app.
8. Legal guarantee of conformity
The Pass is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content, for as long as you have access to it.
If a game or a category of the Pass won’t open, or doesn’t match its description, write to support@lovecouple.app: we will restore access and, if that isn’t possible, refund you.
9. Your account and use of the Pass
The Pass is tied to the account it was bought with, your couple’s space. It is for your personal and private use, as a couple: it cannot be transferred, resold or shared with other people, and you don’t give the account’s credentials to other people. If your account is deleted at your request, the Pass is deleted with it. The Pass opens on four devices at once at most (phones, tablets, computers): on a fifth one, it waits for a place to free up, when you remove a device in “Settings” or when one of the four has not been used for seven days.
The texts, cards, illustrations and layout of the space are protected by copyright. Any copying or sharing with others, free or paid, is prohibited. The cards you write yourselves appear only in your space.
10. Personal data
For your account, we process your email address (with Apple, possibly a relay address that hides yours), your password if you chose one (only a hashed fingerprint of it is stored), the name and profile photo link Google sends us if you sign in with it, the two first names you give, the language of your space and the date you confirmed you are 18 or over; when you sign in, the IP address and browser used, for the security of the account. For your games: your favorite cards, the cards you write and the days you play. For the purchase of the Pass: the order details (amount, currency, dates, status, email address, Stripe identifiers, version of the Terms accepted and time of acceptance). Your browser keeps, on your device only, your sign-in session and the last category played. To limit the Pass to four devices: for each device, a random identifier, its name and the date of its last visit.
This data is used to run your space, to perform the order (access, support) and to meet our legal obligations, including accounting; it is kept as long as these purposes require. Your email address is not used for marketing.
Link and Stripe process your payment details, name and billing address as seller of record, on their own behalf. Our providers: Supabase (accounts and database of the space, hosted in Paris), Brevo (sending emails), Cloudflare (protecting sign-up and sign-in against robots) and OVHcloud (website hosting). You can exercise your rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction) by writing to support@lovecouple.app, and lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL). For everything else, see our privacy policy.
11. Customer service
For any question or complaint about the Pass: support@lovecouple.app. For a question about your payment or your receipt, you can also contact Link support at support.link.com.
12. Consumer mediation
If you have sent us a written complaint (section 11) and our answer does not satisfy you, or you have received none, you can refer the dispute free of charge to the following consumer mediator (articles L612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code):
- Mediator: CM2C (Centre de la Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de Justice)
- Address: 49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, France
- Phone: +33 1 89 47 00 14
- Website: https://www.cm2c.net/declarer-un-litige.php
- Email: litiges@cm2c.net
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. If you live in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.
Failing an amicable solution, disputes go to the courts designated by law.
